Meet the Artist
Artist • Author • Educator
Hi, I'm Deseré Mayo, an artist, author, and educator. I believe creativity is a gift from God and that every work of art has the power to honor people, preserve history, and inspire others to create. For over 25 years, I've created portraits, transformed retired musical instruments into fine art, illustrated books, and taught creativity through workshops and educational programs. My work exists to honor people, preserve stories, and encourage others to discover the Creator through creativity.
My Creator created me to create.
